MOPGA 2025 competition for young researchers open until December 5
Make Our Planet Great Again 2025 Competition is Open Until December 5, 2024. This program will award at least 60 grants to young international researchers to conduct a 12-month research stay in France on topics related to climate change and environmental issues.
As a leading player in the fight against climate change and upholding the spirit of the Paris Agreement, France is launching a new MOPGA fellowship program for research stays aimed at young researchers. Its goal is to strengthen the scientific contribution to climate change issues raised by the COP conferences.
This competition is part of the Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) program, a project funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) and implemented by Campus France. It will host young international researchers who wish to conduct research in French laboratories and research centers.
At least 60 grants will be awarded to selected young researchers for a 12-month period, starting in September 2025.
Who can apply?
Foreign researchers who meet the following conditions may apply:
- Obtained their doctorate within the past 5 years.
- Hold only foreign nationality.
- Have not resided in France for more than 90 days between September 5, 2024, and December 5, 2024.
