Between April 8 and 12, Diogo Abreu, a former student of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Pedro Ferreira, from Aerospace Engineering, took part in the European Championships of Trampoline, Double Mini-Trampoline and Tumbling 2026. The alumni secured 3rd place, with 19 points in the final, in the senior men’s team classification for individual trampoline. This result contributed to Portugal winning five bronze medals at the championship.

The student duo also qualified in 1st place for the synchronized pairs final at the European Championships, scoring 53.970 in the April 10 qualification round, held at the Portimão Arena.
