The University of Lisbon once again leads Electrical and Electronic Engineering nationwide

The University of Lisbon, which includes Técnico, once again achieved 1st place nationally in 8 of the 12 categories evaluated by the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, including Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The University is also among the top 200 worldwide in this field.

In the “Engineering and Technology” category, in addition to maintaining national leadership, ULisboa rose to 50th place in Europe and 166th worldwide, continuing its trajectory of international progress.

The ranking, compiled by Quacquarelli Symonds, is based on indicators such as academic reputation, employer recognition, research output, and international networks.
