Minors 2025/2026

Students enrolled in a Master’s program next academic year can apply between July 1 and 31 for Minors—sets of courses worth 18 ECTS that complement their 2nd-cycle studies. Minors are available across all Technical University master’s programs. However, if a Minor’s courses overlap significantly with the student’s main curriculum area, access may be restricted.

1st Phase of Applications – National Higher Education Access Competition

Applications are submitted via the DGES online platform, with authentication via Citizen Card or Digital Mobile Key (CMD). Results for the 1st phase will be announced on August 24, and enrolment takes place from August 25 to 28. Técnico’s Welcome Week for new students runs from September 1 to 3.
For information on scholarships and support, consult the DGES website.

Mentorship Program

Mentors, who are current Técnico students, will welcome and support incoming students during Welcome Week (1–3 September) at the Alameda campus, including guided campus tours for 1st-cycle, 2nd-cycle, integrated master’s, and exchange students. Applicants must have completed at least one academic year at Técnico and can apply to be a Mentor for 1st-cycle students, mobility students, or 2nd-cycle students.
