Unite! Doctoral Scholarships

These scholarships are part of the protocol between FCT and ULisboa and are awarded for Doctoral studies in the priority intervention areas of Unite! (other areas are not excluded):

• Energy Storage and Conversion (photovoltaic energy, wind energy, batteries, hydrogen)
• Artificial Intelligence
• Industry 4.0

As part of the European University Unite!, the protocol includes universities in Germany, Italy, France, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Austria, and Poland.

International Mobility Program

Students enrolled in the 2nd Cycle (Master's) who wish to undertake their mobility for Studies in the first semester or for the entire academic year of 2025/2026 may apply to up to ten destination options from various partner institutions.

MIT Portugal Program: Applications for Funding of Exploratory Projects

Eight projects will be funded. Applications should focus on the areas of Climate Science & Climate Change; Earth Systems: Oceans to Near Space; Digital Transformation in Manufacturing or Sustainable Cities. Eligible applicants include research teams from higher education institutions, R&D institutes and centers, state or international laboratories based in Portugal, non-profit private institutions focused on Science and Technology, and other private or public institutions engaged in scientific research activities.

Scientific Research Grant (BIC): PhD Candidates and Researchers

The French Institute of Portugal is opening a competition for the awarding of individual mobility grants (PhD and post-doctoral level) for Portuguese or foreign researchers residing in Portugal who are working at a Portuguese research institution.

The grant allows the winners of the competition to go to a laboratory or research unit in France for one month, covering mobility, accommodation, and food costs.

This is intended for researchers and young researchers who wish to establish new Franco-Portuguese collaborations.
