Cláudia Sousa Furtado, alumna of BSc and MSc in Electronics Engineering at Tecnico, was recognized as "African Disruptor of the Year in 4IR 2023" in Johannesburg, earlier this month. The award was given by the African Women Entrepreneurs Awards and CWENA, where more than 100 nominees were evaluated by 15 judges and award-winning industry leaders.

"It brings me great joy to see this award celebrate the tenacity of the Mozambican people and in particular, the collective efforts of the outstanding team behind Ability+. We embarked on this journey with the belief that shaping the future of African Society should be, first and foremost, through a path of #digitaltransformation, #sustainability and #circulareconomies" said Cláudia.
