Yesterday we had full house at the welcome session for students starting the Degree of Electrical and Computer Engineering (LEEC) in 2023.

The session, took place in Salão Nobre, and included the intervention of the LEEC Coordinator, Prof. Paulo Lobato Correia, and the President of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Prof. José Santos Victor.

The welcome session also included the participation of LEEC delegates, and the intervention of the 2nd year delegate, Nuno Abreu. Gonçalo Midões, coordinator of NEEC (student cluster of Electrical and Computer Engineering), presented the projects developed by NEEC. Margarida Pereira, coordinator of JEEC (Jornadas de Engenharia Eletrotécnica e de Computadores) presented this important event organized by Electrical and Computer Engineering students, and invited all new LEEC students to participate in JEEC.

The welcome session continued with the intervention of Patrícia Simões, from the NDA (Núcleo de Desenvolvimento Académico).

After, the new students were invited to a social session in the atrium of the North Tower, which included a small snack and the delivery of a welcome kit.
