Fields either exclusively or almost exclusively represented by Técnico, such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, led by ULisboa at the national level

Published at the beginning of September, the National Taiwan University Ranking (NTU) announces the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), which includes Instituto Superior Técnico, as the national leader in the field of Engineering.

In the same field, the institution was also ranked in the top 25 European universities out of a total of 170, an area where Técnico makes a strong contribution through its scientific output.

In more specific areas, the results achieved stand out for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, fields either exclusively or almost exclusively represented by Técnico, where ULisboa appears as the national leader and, in the latter, ranks 5th in Europe.

This ranking focuses exclusively on the performance of universities in terms of research and scientific output.
