On June 4th, 2019, at 6:00 PM, in the Noble Hall, the The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) A F Harvey Prize 2018 will be awarded to Professor Mário Silveirinha.

The prize, worth £350,000, has been awarded annually since 2011 to a researcher for his/her exceptional contributions in the fields of Microwaves and Radar Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Lasers, and Optoelectronics.

During the ceremony, the honoree will present the winning proposal.

The prize will be presented by the Chairman of the Jury, Professor Sir John O’Reilly.
