Electrical and Computer Engineering Days kick off today!

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Days (JEEC) begin today at 11:30 a.m. at the Técnico Innovation Center (TIC). The opening ceremony will feature António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations; Nuno Horta, Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Francisco Rosa, JEEC 2025 Coordinator; and Engineer Jorge Liça, Vice President of the Portuguese Engineers Association.

Until Friday, the event is open to students, faculty, and researchers, aiming to promote engagement with companies through a week-long job fair, the 15/15 initiative—featuring presentations on the latest technological advances in the industry and networking moments—workshops covering various topics, and Eletrolink, which will connect professionals and students through one-on-one, one-hour conversations addressing internship and job opportunities.

Additionally, TIC will host lectures via panels with professionals, including alumni perspectives, and roundtable discussions.
