On December 13, student Gonçalo Rodrigues will defend his doctoral thesis titled "Sensors for Implant Monitoring." The defense will take place at 2:00 PM in Amphitheater PA-3 (Floor -1 of the Mathematics Pavilion) at the Alameda campus.

The jury will be chaired by Professor Leonel Sousa and will include Professors Marcelino Bicho dos Santos and Jorge Fernandes, both from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Técnico, João de Oliveira, professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology at the Nova University of Lisbon, and Virgílio Valente, professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science, Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada.
