O prémio "Vencer o Adamastor", no valor de 20.000€, foi instituído pelo INESC, em parceria com o Jornal Público, e distingue trabalhos inovadores de jovens cientistas, desenvolvidos em Portugal, nos campos da eletrotecnia, computação e afins, que revelem não só excelência científica, mas também potencial para desenvolvimentos que beneficiem a sociedade.

The "Vencer o Adamastor" award, worth €20,000, was established by INESC, in partnership with Jornal Público, and distinguishes innovative works by young scientists, developed in Portugal, in the fields of electrical engineering, computing and similar, which reveal not only scientific excellence, but also potential for developments that benefit society.

Applications for the second edition of the award are open until October 16, 2023.
