The paper "Routing on Multiple Optimality Criteria" authored by professor João Luís Sobrinho and master's student Miguel Ferreira has received a "Best Paper Award" in the Conference of the ACM SIGCOMM 2020.

There were two Best Paper Awards, the one authored by Prof. João Sobrinho and master's student Miguel Ferreira and another by 12 Google researchers, from 53 papers presented and 250 papers submitted.

The Conference of the ACM SIGCOMM is the flagship annual conference of the Special Interest Group on Data Communication (SIGCOMM), a vital special interest group of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM).
