LEEC student receives Honourable Mention at international competition

Luís Parra, Electrical and Computer Engineering degree student, as well as Pedro Ramos, Computer Science Engineering Master’s degree student, and Frederico Araújo, alumni of Biomedical Engineering, received an Honourable Mention at ETHGlobal, the largest blockchain hackathon in the world, held in San Francisco.

The competition brought together more than 1700 participants from all over the world, including students from universities as Yale, Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard and MIT. The project developed by the Técnico students consists on a system that uses Game Theory to ensure the best possible result in P2P (Peer-to-Peer) monetary transactions.
