Victory in Lisbon Big Apps 2013
Pedro Ventura de Oliveira, student of the Degree in Telecommunications and Informatics of IST (LETI) is part of the team that won the Lisbon Big Apps 2013 with the wiRide smartphone application, the first free mobile application for carpooling.
The team includes elements from two other IST Taguspark courses, Rui Santos from MEIC, Miguel Monteiro, a former student of LEIC, and Gil Gomes from LEGI, as well as two elements from UCL, Joana Flora and Alexandra Hernandez.
