The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering welcomes Luís Rosado, who joins the department as an Assistant Professor.

Professor Luís Rosado has co-founded several technology-based companies while carrying research at Instituto de Telecomunicações and lecturing as invited assistant professor at IST. His research interests are electronic sensors and actuators, electromagnetic testing and sensors arrays, and signal processing.

Professor Luís Rosado expects to contribute to promoting hands-on learning practices and entrepreneurship amongst students.
