Students already enrolled at Instituto Superior Técnico in previous academic years may register for the courses (curricular units) of the 1st semester between August 22 and September 5.
Annual enrollment is mandatory and does not replace the shift reservation, which must be completed between September 2 and 5, for the shift that will appear in the class schedule.

Before selecting the curricular units for both semesters, each student must choose their tuition regime:

• Full-time (full tuition fee, with enrollment up to 72 ECTS/year)
• Part-time (tuition based on predefined ECTS/year thresholds)

Enrollment in courses and shift reservations for the 1st semester are automatic for students entering Técnico for the first time in the 1st year. In the 2nd semester, the procedure must be carried out manually by the student. During the 1st year of study (enrollment from August 25 to 28), students cannot choose the part-time tuition regime.
