Open applications for the award of the best DEEC thesis video, 2022/2023 Edition

DEEC instituted the award for the best video on the master's theses completed in MEEC, MEE, MEAer, METI and MECD degress, supervised (or co-supervised) by professors from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. The target length of the video, with content aimed at non-experts, is 3 minutes.
This award's main objectives are: to stimulate students' skills in terms of presenting their own work to non-specialists, and to compile material about students' work that can be used to publicize the department's activities.
The best video will receive a prize worth €250. The videos (or extracts from them) may be used as promotional material for DEEC, as an incentive for future candidates or to publicize the department's activities.
Applications for the 8th edition of the DEEC video competition are open until January 5, 2024, and for dissertations completed, with approval, during the 2022/23 academic year. Videos must be submitted to the DEEC secretariat (sec@deec.tecnico.ulisboa.pt), in any practical form, by 4pm on that day, and accompanied by the copyright transfer form for the purposes of promoting DEEC activities.
We anticipate the release of results on March 1, 2024.
