New Book: Engineering of Power Systems Economics

Rui Castro, full professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is the author of the book "Engineering of Power Systems Economics", which was recently published by Springer.

This book provides a deep understanding of the economic and engineering dimensions underlying energy systems, from electricity generation to consumption, the role of market structures and regulation.

The book addresses the economics of energy systems, from the perspective of aspects related to engineering. It is mainly aimed at master's students taking energy systems economics courses.
