The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will showcase the academic journey and goals of students and alumni in the new section ElectroStars. In a series of five interviews, DEEC aims to give a voice to students and former students who stand out for their academic merit, in order to share what it means to be a student at Técnico, as well as how the academic stage—from choosing a degree to setting professional goals—impacts their lives. How can the future engineers of DEEC change the world?

The first series features five testimonies, with the following release dates:

• Rafael Rodrigues, winner of the Celfinet Academic Merit Award — November 29, 2024;
• Margarida Cavaleiro, winner of the "Women in Energy MSc" scholarship — December 6, 2024;
• José Luís Trindade, winner of the Cisco Academic Merit Award (2022/23 academic year) — December 13, 2024;
• Duarte Pardal, winner of the Cisco Academic Merit Award (2023/24 academic year) — December 20, 2024;
• António Jerónimo, winner of 3rd place in the REN Award 2024 — January 3, 2025.

The content will be shared weekly on the department's page every Friday. The first interview will be shared on November 29.
