No âmbito da 3ª edição do Ciclo de Palestras por Jovens Doutorados (DEEC-JD3), irá realizar-se no próximo dia 26 de fevereiro de 2020, às 12:30, no anfiteatro EA2, a 3ª palestra do ciclo.

Título: Vision for sustainable energy systems

Orador: Tiago Sousa, Investigador Postdoc na Technical University of Denmark (DTU)

Abstract: The seminar presents the candidate’s vision and contribution to a sustainable energy system operated under high share of renewable generation. The first part will be on research achievements through his academic career, with focus on most recent one proposal of applying peer-to-peer systems as energy market designs. This recent proposal assumes a decentralized operation of all energy system including a decentralized operation of electricity markets. The second part focus on the candidate’s research plan to conduct R&D projects, and industry collaboration, supported by European and national funding. Besides the research plan, the candidate will address his contribution to teaching activities, especially with future courses on timely topics in energy systems.
