Professor José Fonseca de Moura, who made a significant contribution to the development of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Técnico, and is currently a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, has been elected President of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), starting on January 1, 2019.
