On July 5th, starting at 2:00 PM, Electro Day returns to Técnico Innovation to host the ElectroCap Demo Day, where 172 undergraduate finalists in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, and Informatics will showcase their projects.

Inspired by international best practices, ElectroCap challenges teams to use technology and collaboration to tackle social issues. In this edition, teams of six students identified 30 relevant problems and developed 30 complete projects: a functional prototype, poster, video, website, and pitch deck.

The program includes thematic panels, talks, and the presentation of three awards:

• Best Prototype, sponsored by NOS
• Communication Award, sponsored by Jerónimo Martins
• Investment Award, decided by public vote

In the inaugural 2024 edition, we welcomed over 1,000 visitors — families, friends, former teachers, and members of the public — exceeding all expectations.
