Registration is now open for JunctionX Lisbon 2025, which will take place on October 18–19 at Técnico – Oeiras campus.

JunctionX Lisbon is part of the global Junction community, the largest hackathon network in Europe, born in Finland, which connects students, professionals, and innovators from all over the world. Every year, JunctionX events happen worldwide that provide a platform for brilliant minds to collaborate, experiment, and build impactful technological solutions.

The 1st edition of Junction in Lisbon will bring together both international and national participants from diverse academic backgrounds, ranging from computer science and engineering to potentially design, management, and social sciences. Over the course of a weekend, during 36 hours, the selected teams will tackle real-world challenges proposed by industry partners, in areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and emerging technologies.

Participants in JunctionX Lisbon will have the opportunity to:

• Develop technical and creative skills in software, product development, problem-solving, and teamwork;
• Collaborate with mentors and industry experts who will be present throughout the event;
• Join an international network of innovators, startups, and technology enthusiasts;
• Compete for prizes and visibility, with the possibility of continuing your project after the hackathon.
