On October 24, Doctor Jorge Alberto Mendes de Sousa obtained the academic title of Aggregated Professor after presenting the seminar “Optimal Dispatch of Power Systems Resources with Embedded Energy Storage Technologies.” The examination took place in auditorium PA-3, in the Mathematics Pavilion.

The jury was chaired by Doctor Paulo Sérgio de Brito André, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, and included Doctor Dominik Möst, Full Professor, Faculty of Business and Economics, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany; Doctor João Paulo Tomé Saraiva, Full Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto; Doctor Ana Isabel Lopes Estanqueiro, Principal Researcher at LNEG – National Laboratory of Energy and Geology; Doctor Pedro Manuel Santos de Carvalho, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon; and Doctor Rui Manuel Gameiro de Castro, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.
