On November 7, six AXIANS – Business For @ll 2025/2026 scholarships were renewed, five of which were awarded to students from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering: António de Carvalho, Carlos dos Reis, Carmem dos Reis, Davilson Delgado, and Juan Lopez.

We [scholarship recipients] want to give back the help we are receiving because it motivates and inspires us to want more, so that in the future we can help in the same way.

The event was attended by AXIANS representatives Marco Teixeira, Carla Madeira, and Paula Lopes Fragata, as well as professors <a href="https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/homepage/ist13111">Paulo Correia</a> (Coordinator of the Electrical and Computer Engineering bachelor’s program), <a href="https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/homepage/ist126537">Rui Valadas</a> (Coordinator of the Telecommunications and Informatics Engineering bachelor’s program), and <a href="https://fenix.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/homepage/ist24804">Margarida Diogo</a> (Coordinator of the Biomedical Engineering bachelor’s program).

Marco Teixeira, Business Unit General Manager, emphasized that “you can feel hope, you can feel that it’s worth it, that organizations are doing what they should be doing: supporting those in need.” Carla Madeira, Business Unit Manager, added that this is “one of the projects” they are most proud to support. “Throughout the year we talk about it a lot,” she said, also highlighting that what matters is that students trace their own path: “every step you take may not be perfect but it is taken.”

The AXIANS – Business For @ll scholarship is one of more than 20 supported by patrons to assist undergraduate and master’s students from the various programs at Técnico.
