On December 2nd, in the meeting room of the central pavilion, the award ceremony for the tb.lx scholarship by Daimler Trucks & Buses took place, granted to Diogo Rego, currently a third-year student of the Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The event was attended by Sérgio Pequito, Vice President for Research at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC), who stated that, “little by little, piece by piece, we are building a better world.” The professor also addressed a message to the benefactors, counting on their continued support to “keep making a difference in the lives of our students.”

Francisco Melo, Vice President of Técnico for Academic Affairs, emphasized the importance of students, noting that “they are the ones who make Técnico what it is,” as well as the role of benefactors, who enable students to focus more on their studies and extracurricular activities.

This scholarship is intended for students at Instituto Superior Técnico enrolled in the Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, and the Master’s in Engineering and Data Science. It is one of more than 20 scholarships supported by Técnico’s network of partners to assist undergraduate and master’s students across its various programs.
