The Eng. Ivo Gonçalves award, 2023 edition, was delivered yesterday to the Electrical and Computer Engineering alumnus, João Catelas.

The award was presented by Doctor Ana Ivo Gonçalves, daughter of Eng. Ivo Gonçalves, in a ceremony chaired by the President of Técnico, Professor Rogério Colaço, Professor José Santos-Victor, President of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Professor Pedro Carvalho, Coordinator of the Scientific Area of Energy.

The Eng. Ivo Gonçalves award aims to reward the best IST student whom, in the year in which the prize is awarded, attends the Master in Electrical and Computer Engineering (MEEC) and is following the MEEC Energy specialization area.
