The Technical University of Lisbon (UTL), in partnership with Deloitte and Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), promoted another edition of the UTL/Deloitte and UTL/CGD Young Investigators Awards.

Carla Sofia dos Reis Medeiros, researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações was one of the winners in the 2011 edition.
