Filipa Lino, a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering: “Choosing Técnico was easy”

On January 30, the Técnico Innovation Center hosted an institutional dinner with representatives from the institutions that are part of the Técnico Partner Network, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the network.
Among the attendees was Filipa Lino, a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering and holder of a Feedzai Women in Science scholarship. Filipa took the stage alongside Inês Silva and Nuno Lynce, current Técnico students, participating in the discussion "What is it like to study at Técnico? The journey of three students." Filipa mentioned that choosing Técnico was an easy decision, as "it is a school with renowned academic excellence and one of the best technology and science schools in Europe."
During the dinner, guests watched a video showcasing dozens of initiatives involving various Partner Network companies, including events supporting extracurricular student activities, such as CA2ECT, merit scholarships, business meetings, protocol signings, company presentations to students, workshops, study space renovations, the Lab2Market program, and the Alumni Talks, highlighting the new opportunities created through the connection between Técnico and the business world.
The event also featured the "Innovation with Técnico DNA: testimony of 3 Técnico entrepreneurs" segment, with João Vital from Stonify, Diogo Rato from Testwaves, and Diogo Caetano from Flash-Rapid Diagnostics sharing their entrepreneurial journeys.
