Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Master's Thesis Video Competition 9th edition – 2023/2024

Applications deadline: January 6, 2025

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (DEEC) has established an award for the best video about master's theses completed in the MEEC, MEE, MEAer, METI, and MECD programs, supervised (or co-supervised) by faculty members of the department. The target duration of the video, aimed at non-specialists, is 3 minutes.

This award has two main objectives: to encourage students' skills in presenting their own work to non-specialists and to compile material about students' work that can be used to promote the department's activities.

The best video will receive a prize of 250€. The videos (or excerpts of them) may be used as promotional material for the DEEC, to encourage future candidates, or in the promotion of the department's activities.

Applications for the 9th edition of the DEEC video competition are open until January 6, 2025, for theses completed and approved during the 2023/24 academic year. The videos must be submitted to the DEEC secretariat, in any practical format, by 4:00 PM on that day, and must be accompanied by the copyright assignment form for the promotion of DEEC's activities. The results are expected to be announced on February 28, 2025.

We need the support of everyone, students and advisors, to show the world the best work done by students in our programs!
