How Can I Enroll?
Before starting your enrollment, you must create a profile on the Connect platform.
It is recommended to use your Digital Mobile Key, linked to your Citizen Card, for a simpler and more autonomous process. You can request the Digital Mobile Key at Autenticacao.gov.
Alternatively, you may create your profile using your Citizen Card (with a card reader, authentication PIN, and address PIN) or your DGES Activation Key (for National Admission Competition students). You must use the same personal data as in your application and the code from the placement notification email sent by DGES.
How to Start Enrollment
Enrollment begins via the Placements menu (Connect Platform > Admissions Portal > Placements).
After submitting the form, you will receive your student number and Técnico Digital Identity (Técnico ID). The following onboarding steps will then take place:
- Managing data sharing preferences
- Setting your Técnico ID password
- Creating your institutional email address
- Requesting your student cards
- Filling out the student profile survey
- Submitting any required documents (if applicable)
Welcome and Orientation Week
From September 1 to 3, new students will be welcomed by the Técnico community. Activities include a welcome session, a campus tour, and a program-specific introduction session. You’ll meet your course coordinators, mentors, the Student Union, student groups, your tutor, and the school's leadership.
The welcome program for the Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering includes various challenges, workshops, and conversations with current students and alumni over the three days. See the full program here.
On the weekend of September 6–7, cultural and social events will help new students explore Lisbon and get to know their future classmates. The activity schedule will be sent to students.
Welcome activities for students admitted in the 2nd phase of the National Admission Competition (CNAES) will take place on September 16–17.
Students admitted in the 3rd phase will be welcomed later, in coordination with the Student Support Office (NAPE).
Doctoral students will be welcomed later during the PhD Open Days.
