Electrical and Electronic Engineering maintains its position in the Shanghai Ranking

Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Lisbon, which includes Técnico, has once again ranked in the 76–100 range in the Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects, maintaining its lead position nationally. The University of Lisbon has also retained its position in the 201–300 range in the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU).

The evaluation of higher education institutions is based on parameters that include the quality of education (measured by alumni who have received Nobel Prizes and field medals), faculty quality (including Nobel laureates, field medalists, and highly cited researchers), research output (based on publications in Nature and Science), and per capita performance.
