The student has to show progress in research activities by publishing papers:

• in scientific journals;
• in scientific conferences;
• according to the plan agreed with the supervisor;
• following the recommendations provided in the corresponding Transferable Skills courses;
• which allows to get external feedback on the developed work;
• aiming at top-tier peer-review journals and conferences;
• prioritising quality over quantity;
• avoiding predatory low-quality journals and conferences.
