Thesis Writing

Following the completion of the proposed research, the student has to write the thesis documenting the research work.
The thesis should be written by:
- reporting on the work done, on its relation to previous work in the area, and on the conclusions drawn from results;
- evidencing the ability to systematically understand the scientific domain;
- proving competences, aptitudes and research methods associated with the scientific domain;
- showing the ability to conceive, design, adapt and carry out significant research, respecting the requirements imposed by academic quality and integrity standards;
- demonstrating to be able to critically analyse, evaluate and synthesise new and complex ideas;
- following the recommendations provided in the corresponding Transferable Skills courses;
- including a section describing how the research has contributed to the body of knowledge in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
