Dia do DEEC 2021

DEEC Day 2021@Técnico: Learning Models and Technologies in the post-covid era

On July 8th we celebrated DEEC day, with a deep reflection on the challenges and new teaching models during and after the pandemic.

The external guests, Prof. Roland Tormey (EPFL), Prof. Joakim Lilliesköld (KTH) and Prof. Matthijs Spaan (TU Delft), presented their experience, and that of the respective Universities, on engineering education during the pandemic, as well as perspectives for the future.

We also had the testimonies of Professors Custódio Peixeiro, Alexandre Bernardino, Hugo Silva and Marcelino Santos, on Experimental Teaching at DEEC, during the pandemic.

To discuss the New Models of Teaching at IST, the program also had a panel of guests: Prof. Alexandre Francisco, Vice-President for Academic Affairs at IST, Dra. Isabel Gonçalves, Coordinator of the Academic Development Center, and Ana Cruz and Ricardo Lameirinhas, representatives of MEEC and PDEEC students.
