Students from Electrical and Computer Engineering receive AXIANS scholarships

Daniel Alves, Mikail Amade and Diogo Rego, from the Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, received scholarships awarded by a member company of the Técnico Partners Network (RPT). The presentation took place on October 12 at the Técnico Innovation Center, as part of the "world's largest programming class," which put Técnico in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Francisco Melo, Vice President for Academic Affairs, thanked AXIANS for encouraging Técnico students to pursue their dreams. Tiago Roxo, a driving force behind the project, believes that the scholarships are a way to give back to society for the company's success.

It is with great pleasure that we support and accompany the academic success of Técnico students in this way.

The AXIANS scholarship competition is open to all students enrolled in the 1st and 2nd cycles of the Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Telecommunications and Computer Engineering courses at Técnico, with a total of seven scholarships awarded.

The partnership between AXIANS and the Instituto Superior Técnico is part of a broader plan for cooperation between academia and the business sector, aiming to create development opportunities for students and align scientific and technological innovation with market needs.
