"How does an Engineer adapt to the role of Manager?", with Pedro Janela, alumnus of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The Mechanical Forum will hold the 3rd edition of FCTalks, a debate with the theme “How does an Engineer adapt to the role of Manager?” The event will take place on October 7th, at 6 PM, in the Abreu Faro Amphitheater. Participants will have the opportunity to hear the opinions and testimonies of four managers who have previously been engineers:
- Pedro Janela, alumnus of Electrical and Computer Engineering and President and Founder of Wygroup, a Portuguese company that operates as a group (“holding”) of various agencies/specialties in marketing, communication, technology, and customer experience;
- Diogo Jorge, CEO and Co-founder of Erising, a company focused on improving efficiency, reducing waste, promoting industrial innovation, and driving Industry 4.0;
- Jaime Jorge, CEO and Co-founder of Codacy, a platform providing software quality automation, security analysis, unit test coverage monitoring, and engineering performance metrics;
- Tiago Dias, Founder and CEO of Unlockit, a Portuguese startup dedicated to digitizing and automating real estate transaction processes.
