With the aim of publicizing the work of young doctorates in areas of interest to DEEC, the 3rd edition of the Lecture series by young doctorates will start this month. These lectures will be followed by visits to R&D Units associated with DEEC and appointments with professors working in similar areas, to introduce speakers to some of the R&D activities in progress.

All professors, researchers from R&D units, PhD and Master's students are invited to attend the lectures. It is strongly encouraged that professors, in addition to participating, invite their students to be present.

The lectures take place at 12:30, in EA2 amphitheater (except for the 1st lecture which will be at EA3), with the following schedule:

29 January 2020 – Bruno Lacerda, Senior Researcher in Robotics, University of Oxford.

12 February 2020 – Jorge Fernandez Villena, Staff Computational Science Engineer at Q Bio Inc.

26 February 2020 – Tiago Sousa, Post-doc researcher at Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

11 March 2020 – Wilker Aziz, Assistant Professor, University of Amsterdam. (ADIADA PARA DATA A ANUNCIAR)

25 March 2020 – Vítor Monteiro, Researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Center of the University of Minho and Invited Lecturer at the University of Minho.
