Doctoral Symposium of ELLIS 2026

From July 27 to 30, the congress centre at the Alameda campus will host the 2026 Doctoral Symposium of the European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ELLIS). Throughout the week, the event will feature talks, panels, poster sessions, and industry networking opportunities, with the participation of Mário Figueiredo (Institute of Telecommunications), Marcos Treviso (Institute of Telecommunications), André Martins (Institute for Systems and Robotics), Catarina Barata (Institute for Systems and Robotics), Zita Marinho (DeepMind), and Isabel Trancoso (INESC-ID).

The event will focus on the theme “Trustworthy AI”. Over four days, it will bring together students, researchers, and experts from across Europe to explore the latest advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning.

The symposium provides a platform for early-stage researchers to present their work, exchange ideas, and engage in discussions about the future of AI, particularly in the development of AI systems that are reliable, safe, and adaptable.

Please consult the full programme and register by May 31 via the official event website.
