On 10 and 11 October, Técnico’s Oeiras Campus will host JunctionX Lisbon 2026, starting at 10 a.m. The event is an international technology and artificial intelligence hackathon and will bring together around 150 students.

Over two days, teams of 1 to 5 participants will develop solutions to real-world challenges set by companies. Participation is free and includes food, drinks and a space to rest.

The winning team will have the opportunity to represent their university at Junction 2026, in Espoo, Finland. The event already offers more than €20,000 in prizes.

Do I need to have prior knowledge of the field?

No. Registration is open to anyone interested in design, technology or entrepreneurship. Workshops will take place throughout the event, and mentors will also be available to support the teams.
