The applications for the 1st Edition of EDP LABELEC Merit Award, are open until March 31, 2022.

The EDP LABELEC Merit Award will distinguish the best Doctoral or Master's Theses, written in Portuguese or English, on energy fields:

•  Production and integration of renewable energy and decarbonization;
•  Smart grids and energy distribution;
•  New clean energy solutions;
•  Innovation technologies and digital solutions.

The prize to be awarded, if the winner is a Doctoral Thesis, will be €20,000 (twenty thousand euros). The prize to be awarded, if the winner is a Master's Thesis, will be €15,000 (fifteen thousand euros).
