"FST Lisboa has reopened applications in its regular recruitment process, with new positions available exclusively in Autonomous Systems.

Selected candidates will integrate the team currently being formed for the FST16 prototype, participating in the full development cycle of next year’s car, from design and implementation to testing and competition.

In Autonomous Systems (minimum: 3rd year), we are recruiting new members to work on software development in ROS/C++. The work focuses on perception using LiDAR and camera-based cone detection, state estimation based on an Extended Kalman Filter with a LuGre tyre model and graphSLAM, path planning using Delaunay triangulation and cone-based methods, and vehicle control through a Model Predictive Controller.
