The Observe and Learn project aims to promote the sharing of strategies and reflection on teaching practices among faculty members from the University of Lisbon (ULisboa) and the Polytechnic University of Lisbon (IPLisboa). The initiative involves classroom observations between lecturers from different scientific fields.

Faculty members may register for one or more of the following options:

1. Classroom observation group
Participation in a group of four lecturers from different scientific fields, who will carry out peer classroom observations and develop collective practices of reflection and feedback on teaching practice.

2. Online introductory seminar for the 25th edition
The session is intended for lecturers who wish to take part in classroom observations.
Date: 1 October 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Location: ESELx – IPLisboa

3. Training course “Classroom Observation and Feedback”
The course is intended for lecturers who register to participate in the observation groups. The training includes two follow-up sessions:
15 October 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
16 October 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Total duration: 5 hours 30 minutes
