The ULisboa/Santander Scientific Prize, created by ULisboa in collaboration with Banco Santander Totta, aims to reward scientific research activity and encourage publications in international journals of recognized quality.

In 2016, the Scientific Award ULisboa/Santander in the area – Electrotechnical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (Avionics) was awarded to Professor José António Marinho Brandão Faria, Full Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
