Students from NEETI participate in HackTogether

On November 9 and 10, students from the Telecommunications and Computer Engineering Students' Association at Instituto Superior Técnico participated in the Hackathon themed "Reshape the Internet," where they achieved 5th place out of 21 teams. The event was organized by Multisynq and took place at HOOD, in Lisbon.

The HackTogether was a 48-hour challenge where participants had the opportunity to develop projects, either individually or in teams, aimed at improving the user experience on the internet. The event featured several juries, mentors, and speakers, including members of Multisynq, such as CEO John Payne and CTO David Smith, as well as individuals from other companies like João Nunes Rosado from Unicorn Factory Lisboa and João Pereira, a developer at Build Up Labs.

Over the weekend, participants were tasked with building open-source software projects that resulted in functional prototypes to improve users' online interactions. At the end, the projects were presented with demonstration videos.

The challenge involved 70 participants from 19 different nationalities and concluded with a closing ceremony.
