ULisboa launches student mental health support program

The University of Lisbon, in partnership with Mindout, has launched the UMIND mobile application, powered by Mindout, aimed at the academic community. This tool can be installed via Google Play and the Apple Store and is designed to support burnout prevention, academic stress management, and the promotion of mental health, integrating practical content, simple exercises, and plans tailored to everyday university life.
The application provides strategies for a balanced life between studies, personal life, and rest. It also allows each student to carry out a self-assessment of their psychological well-being and, based on the results, be referred to the psychology services of the University of Lisbon, ensuring appropriate and timely support.
The app will be available free of charge for one month to ULisboa students, subject to authentication with the institutional EDU email and original academic credentials. In case of loss of academic credentials, they can be recovered via the user portal.
For questions or assistance with potential access issues to the application, users should contact the responsible team directly via the email address info@mindout.me.
Instituto Superior Técnico offers a psychotherapy and counseling service, promoted by the School’s health services, with the aim of fostering psychological well-being by providing specialized support in areas such as guidance and counseling, crisis intervention, and therapy for diagnosed conditions. In addition, the Academic Development Unit (NDA) provides the student and teaching community with psychopedagogical support and psychological coaching sessions.
