On December 12, Hanna Iva Busse successfully defended her thesis “Wireless Data CMOS Downlink for Implantable Power Harvesting Health Devices”, supervised by Professor Jorge Manuel dos Santos Ribeiro Fernandes, obtaining the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The examination took place online.

The examination committee was chaired by Dr. Luís Miguel Teixeira D'Avila Pinto da Silveira, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, and composed of Dr. Jorge Manuel dos Santos Ribeiro Fernandes, Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon; Dr. José Alberto Peixoto Machado da Silva, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto; Dr. Jorge Filipe Leal Costa Semião, Coordinating Professor at the School of Engineering of the University of Algarve; and Dr. Fernando Manuel Duarte Gonçalves, Assistant Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon.
